Toys/Rewards

Incorporating toys into therapy is also a great way to keep your client/clients engaged in the session


  • Mr. Potato Head
  • Play Dough 
  • Toy cars
  • Bubbles 
  • Stickers
  • "treasure box"

Here's a sample session plan using a reward (pieces of play dough, stickers, bubbles, toy cars, etc)








**Both of these activities related back to the Tennessee Standards for Phonological Awareness by demonstrating the understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes) by isolating the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds in spoken single-syllable words.**
