*Books should be incorporated into every session with children who have speech sound disorders.

 *Both of the activities relate back to the Tennessee standards in that an early reading foundation begins with the alphabetic principle and the understanding that there is a systematic relationship between letters and sounds. It is important to target this relationship in our intervention.
